Applications
Launching tees are designed to be installed on rigid pipe for drilling and bagging on and off, without gas leaks. These tees can be used for steel, asbestos cement and ductile iron pipes, with outer diameters from 110 to 335 mm.
Highest operating pressure
BTF tee design pressure is 1 bar, but maximum launching pressure is only 50 mbar.
Installation
BTF tees have to be installed by means of specifically designed Drilling and Launching equipment (EP16 / EB20) manufactured by Grupo Torre.
Identification
Each Torre® launching tee is marked with its corresponding batch number. Quality certificates are supplied with each unit.
Standards
BTF complies with ES.03183.ES – CN standard “Rigid pipes under pressure tee with maximum operating pressure less or equal to 0.05 bar”.
